I loved your point: "When you write, believe in yourself. Be determined. Find your voice and distinguish yourself with it."

It reminded me of our conversation earlier today regarding public speaking. Just change the words to "When you speak, believe in yourself. Be determined. Find your voice and distinguish yourself with it." -- that is exactly what I plan to do when I give my Toastmasters speech this Thursday. Thanks for the inspiration and I look forward to more of your posts!

-Laura

Re: On Being Unemployed and Trying to Write

Thanks for that article. Not many of us can express
our fear, our insecurity as honestly as you have done. It takes courage
to keep at it and optimism to keep learning. You have both and you will
make it. All the best!

Re: Dear Dogs and Cats

I LOVE this!

Re: Sustainable Thinking: Definition and Interpretation

Interesting! It's the creativity that separates writers. I liken it to story telling, where not everyone will have the charisma to convey a good story. A woman and her children to see a cute little dog curled up in her cage. Peep when they enter the chassis, lucky enough to lift the wire cage of her little paws.

Re: First Golden

Goldens sure do have a way of doing that to all of us.
